Hi all,

Hopefully you can help me with a new issue.

I'm trying to setup a schedule to allow incoming calls to one of our DID's to forward to specific users cell phones only certain times throughout the day, while having the cell number (person on call) rotate weekly. Would this be accomplished by setting up a forwarding group with the CO Recall option enabled?

We already have a hunt group setup which forwards calls to voicemail. The system then cascades through a few cell numbers in order to alert and have users answer that VM.

I know this is a complicated request, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Thomas

You have a few options the best is the most complicated. Build a star app set specific dates to cover the weeks you are needing If you link Stars you could do an entire year if you wanted. Build a phantom for each cell and forward the phantom to the cell. Build CRA's to Timeout to the Phantom. Set the dates in the star to CRA labeled that are set to time out to the Phantom forwarding to the cell.
Now for the Cheap and easy set your destination to a phone. Go to that phone dial spcl 355,8 (for an outside line) then the cell number for that week the next week repeat the process and change the cell. Several options on how to get to the forwarded phone will send PM with cell and I'll help you

I really appreciate your insight.

Can you elaborate one your first suggestion. You would use the CRA that would timeout and link the the phantom extension (linked to the cell), and use the STAR app in conjunction with the CRA's to setup the schedule.

How do you setup the cell number for the phantom extension (how does it link?)?

Thanks
