We have some users who record teleclasses. These generate 40M+ sized files, which wreaks havoc with Exchange settings. Is it possible to use another file format than WAV?

Yes. The users press the record button on their phones. The recording becomes a voice mail message. Enterprise Messenger converts it to a WAV file and emails it to the user.

There is no other format the files come in. There are numerous cheap recording devices that plug into the handset of the phone. Also if you have Enterprise Messaging you can setup Basic Integration and setup an IMAP connection to the EM in the users outlook to listen to the calls.
If at V1.2+ you can log into the webpage at https://<IP of EM>/umosevm
