We are having a problem with audio on our Intertel Axxess system.
On some calls only one side of the audio can be heard. Sometimes we can heard the other party, but they can't hear us, and sometimes it is reversed. If you hang up and try again it is usually OK. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries. This is affecting about 20-30% of our calls.
The problem is occurring on both internal calls extension to extension as well as outside calls both inbound and outbound.
Our lines come in on a T1 PRI which has been fully tested by the telco. Initially we were thinking it was a bad channel on the PRI, but since it is occuring on internal calls also we think it is something with the Axxess system.
The problem started cropping up after a multiple hour power outage last week. The Intertel system though is on a large APC full online battery backup system, although it did eventually fully discharge and the axxess system did shut down.
We are on Axxess version 8.20
Any ideas on where to look or how to troubleshoot would be appreciated.
