Added a pc voice mail to a partner acs lsst week. The next day customer called saying no calls coming in.
Voice mail should answer after 4 rings. Went onm site, no ringing on phone system the red light at the line blinks
if you pick up that call it dials the number called in then you can talk. Customer also said idel line preference not working,
** line key ** could not program anything the pc voice mail would not answer. Brought the pc mail home and tested it on my test bench
everything working as it should. Called customer and told him the processor is toast, which i installed 12 years ago.
Gave him a quote for a new system. He wants only to replace the 3x8 processor, which i will do tomorrow.
This is the first time i had a trouble like this, that some features work and other don't. Life is full of experiences.

It sounds like extensions that are NOT ports on the voicemail system are programmed into #505-7
