I am trying to get a simple internal solution between our Axxess v8.224 software with a SLC16 and a four line FXO card in our asterisk server.

Calls come in and out fine but I do not get callerID info either way.

I have given up on callerid from FXO to SLC, that is akin to a POTS phone trying to pass CALLID to the phone company, But I was hoping to get CALLID from SLC to the FXO.

I have used dahdi_monitor to record the audio and the Axxess does not pass any FSK during the rings.

And was wondering if having the premium feature "Analog VM hunt Grps" is a must to getting callerid out of a SLC card.

I checked and "Analog VM hunt Grps" is not licensed on our system.

If I remember correctly, CID out on SLC cards was a feature of 9.x software. CID in on LSC was in 8.x, but not outbound IC in 8.x.

It is not a deal breaker so I do not think we will pay to upgrade to 9.x.

But that may explain why there is no CallerID.
