Wanna hear a strange one? We had a 12.1 SP2 IP Office with a paging group that included about 35 IP phones and an analog port for overhead speaker paging. All the extensions on the system could page the group with no issue, but whenever the reception phone paged the group the page was only broadcast to the phones, not the overhead speakers. Button programming matched, phone model matched, we even tried swapping with a different phone - no joy. Tried a shortcode to page the external amp only; that worked fine. But absolutely would not play nice with the page group.

Finally rebooted the IPO and voila - problem solved.
