My client has a Premier 1224/2460 that
I used to do basic move changes on. It has a
TVS100 voicemail. Neither of which are my Normal
Products.

frown I am looking for the Dial Code to
Set on/off message waiting light.

They have to enter mailbox number and password so there doesn't appear to be any integration.
But the lites go on and off.
The client sez he doesn't really need a MWL.....
We know how that will go over later !!

I am putting in a Samsung DCS-C, which I tested
with the VM and it worked perfect. I didn't want to get into the TVS voicemail program or default it because it is over 15 years old. Just hook it up and "MATCH" MWL code.

Any one know what the Premier wants to see?
I can match that in the Samsung. bingo done.

One point, it is a 4 port VM. With their downsize I sold them 2 analogue ports.
I wonder if the VM uses port 3 or 4 for MWL?

Does a TVS 100 integrate with a Samsung?
The VM manual talks about Panasonic systems
but anyone know if it has a set of integration for the Samsung? (I'll post in VM also)

It's been a long time since working on Premier but I believe 365 will turn on the Message Waiting Light and 366 will turn it off.

I have no experience with TVS 100 voice mails. I would try just port 4 for MWL which is typical when they integrate with a Repartee. If that doesn't work try 3 and 4.

Thanks Stix.
This leads me in the right direction, THANKS.
(I thought I saw a 368 code somewhere)

Do you know the "stream" or functionally of how that works?
ie: dial "365 + ext number" or dial ext # 365.
or some "process".

I do not know the exact stream. My manuals for this system are long gone and I even tried googling it for you but to no avail. Hopefully somebody will pop in with the answer and/or I'll keep the search going for you and let you know if I find something.

I was out there yesterday....a guy had messages from voicemail (those words were across his screen)

I hit IC dialed 366 + ext# and it went away.
I tried to turn it on but to no avail, so
that's the ticket. I'll need to do more testing when I fianlly move it over to the Samsung.

As much as I hate it, I may need to go into the VM after all and look at integration.

THANKS Stix
