I’ve got an 8602 IP Softphone that I’m trying to connect with v 2.1.2.40 CS-5200. All settings are correct and the system shows that there is a Category B license, with 0 of 1 in use.
When I start the Softphone, it shows LICENSE ERROR IP ENDPOINT on the display.
I changed the settings for those of my Softphone (on another node) and it works okay. I pointed my Softphone to the new one and the license error shows again. So, the Softphones are working, just not at this node.
Every indication shows this as a license issue. In DB Studio, I checked Operations / IP Device Status. It shows the Softphone with a red X, no license. I tried to reload the license, but it shows as already in use.
I have 0 of 1 licenses in use, but it shows the Sopftphone as unlicensed. Anyone have any thoughts?

Do you have IP Endpoints enabled on your license as well? You need that in addition to the Category B license.
You might be licensed only for a digital system.

I had the something happen and had to have support reset the license so I could load it again Randy

Yep, IP Endpoints is not enabled.
You know, two of us stared at the stupid thing for an hour and missed that! Thanks.
