We have a Mitel 5000, phones are VoIP and model 5312.
Folks in our customer service area state that on a regular basis, their phones will ring, Display will state No Digits, and when they answer, no one is ever on the other end.
What could possibly be causing this?

Sounds like garbage coming down the pipe.
The final entries on your Call Routing Tables should be + and E. The + will route calls which contain digits not on the routing table. The E (for empty) will route calls with no digits received from the carrier.
Most likely, the label on the E entry is No Digits. Contact your carrier and tell them that calls are being delivered with no DNIS digits and have them troubleshoot.
