Howdy,

I have a customer who is an answering service and they've been growing like mad. They maxed out at about 2000 DIDs or slightly under with their Axxess 11.x

In the Online Monitor / Meta Database I changed the Table Size Limit from 75000 to 150000. I don't know what those actually are. Meta Database Call Routing Units (Brian Regan) ? 'Go my favorite sports team!'

Anyway, does anyone have any insight to this and what a healthy, safe max would be?

I would never recommend making changes in Online Monitor especially if you "don't know what those actually are". You can cause serious damage in there.

Instead of changing the Table Size in Online Monitor, you should link the Call Routing Table you need to expand to another one. Do this by adding a + as your last entry and have that go to another unused Call Routing Table. In there, you can create the extra DID's you need to add.

To answer your original question, each entry in the Call Routing Table is 32 bytes plus the number of DNIS digits you are receiving. For instance, if you are receiving 4 digits each entry would be 36. If you needed to add 100 new DID's you would only need to add 3600 to that original default value (75000).

To reiterate, I would highly recommend linking the Call Routing Tables in lieu of changing anything in Online Monitor.
