Howdy,

I have an 11.01 Axxess 512 with a CPS. The CPS will peg the CPU out at 100% once a week or so and cause the whole system to crash / reboot. No updates are running and either the Task Manager shows the icp.exe or csrss.exe to be the culprit pegging out the CPU at 100%. Virus software has been removed, etc. It appears to be the box.

We've used the recovery disk and re-imaged / recovered the computer, replaced the RAM, replaced the NIC cards, etc. This box seems to just be plagued. We have a spare CPS that seems to run it okay but it's just a loaner and it's scary old too.

I can buy a smokin' fast Gateway computer with 6 gig RAM, etc. for $ 499.

Can the CPS software run on anything newer than Windows 2000? Will it run on an XP box? Windows 7 Pro?

This is a hospital so I can't really spend a whole lot of lab time monkeying around with it while it continues to crash on the bad box. I need to get a solid replacement in now.
