Good afternoon. One of our employees needs to forward his calls periodically to a cell phone when he's out of the office. I've checked all areas in our system and cannot figure out why the quick button on his phone will not allow this. Our system info is: Inter-Tel Axxess 5000, using database 11.004, DB Studio 1.67 version.
His phone settings in the system appear correct to allow fwd'ing calls but the quick button doesn't work. In order to make this happen, he has to enter a succession of codes (ex: press infinity button then a series of numbers (the code) then pound). That will let him forward his calls to his cell.
I checked our system for his extension in the program keys, flags and forward path settings. All appear to be correct and the same as the other staff. Any other thoughts on where to check? I also swapped out his phone just to play it safe. Still not working. Thanks in advance.

By quick button, I'm assuming you mean his FWD button.
He should be able to hit FWD, then 8 for outgoing, then the number and be good to go.
Where does it fail? Any error messages received?
You can also hit (infinity button) 396 and the button to make sure it is set up for call forwarding.

No errors this time. I think he was forgetting to press pound at the end. I tried everything but that and now it is working. Genious! Thanks so much!!
