Have a remote user (NZ) with a 8662 homed to a 5200 in the UK (v 3.0.6.xyz), as are several others. Also all in-office phones are 8662s. System is meshed with four other US locations.
When user calls 'home', the UK office, no audio, either way. When users in that office call his extension same result.
Now for the weird:
If the UK staff call INTO the office and dial his extension, all works. Also, he can call (ext. to ext) any other extension in the company, and any in any other office can call him just fine, all works.
IOW: No audio ONLY for INTERNAL, Ext. to Ext. to the System he is homed on only. Anywhere else on the planet he's fine.
Thoughts?
TIA
:bang:

Have you checked Peer-to-Peer audio settings? System\Devices and Feature Codes\Network Groups.

(Wish this thing supported screen shots)
System\Devices and Feature Codes\Network Groups\
Shows P7000 EXT P7000 and PP029 EXT pp029 with Endpoint and Trunks under each.
P7000 shows 'Use Peer-To-Peer Audio' as Yes PP029 shows as No.
I've tried putting him in both, one at a time, with no change/no noticeable effect.
;(

Is it possible the UK office and the remote user both share the same internal IP network scheme?
IOW, both are using 10.0.0.0/24.

We do use an internal private net over there, but the remote user (and a 'sub' office in Paris, also homed on the UK System) are on other adddys.
The (working) Paris office is on a 10.10.x.x net, the remote/home user is one 192.168.0.x, and the UK Office is 192.168.4.x - shouldn't be any conflicts, and no evidence of with other networking.

Have you checked the "Nat address type" setting on the endpoint. I have seen this cause audio probs when set to auto. Try setting it to Native or Nat depending on your network.
