My phone system is configured to dump callers into a queue using the digit tranlation. After a certain time period a the call gets forwarded to another group where they get a "high call load message" and then go back to the original hold group. what happens however is that people calling in last are picked up first . Sort of a Lifo situation. how can i change that to a FiFo situation?
thank you

The "high call load message" is more than likely a Call Routing Announcement set in either the Announcement or Overflow field in that specific hunt group. Look in the digit translations of that CRA and let us know what the Timeout is set to go to.

Could be that the hunt group recalls to itself. When the recall timer expires, the call in queue will be presented to the hunt group as a new call – causing the problem you described.
If you want callers to remain in queue, the recall destination should be NONE.
Also could be incorrect digit translations in the Announcement or Overflow applications. Time Out should be set to Hang Up. If the Time Out is set to be anything else, the call will be pulled out of queue.
