We need some select stations to pass a DID instead of the main BTN for caller ID for call back purposes (we have multiple business lines). We have been testing this this week to no avail:
Here is what we found. We changed the settings on the call types for the PRI Card to ISDN/National, per TWTelecom's request, as this is needed for caller ID passing.
What is happening is that if it is a long distance call, it passes the the plan/type correctly, but local calls send the plan/type from the AXXESS as Unknown/Unknown (see trace information from TWTC below. They still pass the caller id information we send, but if the called number is on AT&T, they refuse to accept it, and show as UNKNOWN On the receiving phone. (I assume related to CNAM)
It appears that we need to trouble shoot why the AXXESS system is not passing the plan/type on local calls. Has anyone experienced this?

Is it possible that you're not using the PRI for local calls.
Check under 'Local' and possibly 'Toll Local' Facility Groups and and verify what Trunk Groups/Nodes are in there.

I just double checked and it is going out the same PRI. It would not be a huge issue if it is only AT&T doing this, but I am stumped as to why we are not passing the Type when it is set on the PRI interface card. You can see it is passing the station level call number: 4+ Number='21xxxxx813'

Did you change all the Call Types or just for long distance? By default, Ten Digit Local Calls and Private Network Calls is set to Unknown which you may already know. Can you post a screen shot of the Call Type screen to show what you have?
In all honesty, I've never had to change the settings in there except for International dialing. That is not to say that your provider might need you to.

I actually tried changing all call type settings to see if that would help. No luck so far. Here is the screen shot
