I am Trying to set up PA paging through the inter-tel. I have worked on inter-tel in the past but it has been a while. I found the the Page output on the cpu card is not good. either a cold solder joint or somthing. I purchased a CO card to page back through a line port. My problem is getting it to work. I have a axxess with 8.2 software and i have the card installed and the ports assigned. I cannot access the port by dialing either the port number itself or by assigning the port as the page port then using page code. I would reaaly appreciate any help i could get. Thanks, Paul

You can’t use a Loop Start port as a page port. The LS port needs to be connected to a page adapter with a LS input, such as a Valcom or Viking unit.
As to dialing, make sure the LS port is a member of a trunk group that you can access, preferably a dedicated paging trunk group.

If you have an unused Digital set you can use the speaker leads and put phone in headset mode. just be sure to put it in page zone .
