I have a client with an Intertel Access 5000 running v8.2 and an EVMC vmail card. The system has been in operation for 8 years. Just before Christmas the vmail card crashed... would not power up at all.. I ordered a refurb card and installed it and rebuilt the while vmail structure as they had no backups available.
All seemed to be working for a couple of weeks now the vmail card is down again, no lights... I have checked cabling, reseated card, rebooted system, no luck. When you try to dial into vmail, we get a msg on the screen that says "MSG NOTIFI IS UNPLUGGED"
Any ideas on where to go from here? I would suspect that my refurb card was bad, but these are very similar symptoms to what the original card displayed. Could I have something wrong in the CPC or chasis?
Please help,
