I have a customer that had a NT CPU Version 5.2F9 with the appropriate dongle. The RAID controller went out and they wanted to replace the whole thing.
I had a Windows 2000 CPS that I loaded NT CPU 5.2F9 software on from the Edge as they don't have CPS software at that version. The customer put the 5.2F9 dongle on the CPS. The software loaded up fine and the Watchdog and ICP services start fine but I can only see the LAN NIC in My Network Places. I believe there should be another Network connection for the crossover connection between the CPS and the CPU card.
I'm starting to think that a Windows 2000 CPS is not compatible with 5.2F9 software as the Edge first shows the CPS software on Version 6.006.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Thanks.
