Is this system a current model or one that has been deemed end of life? We are an Avaya, ESI, and Nortel shop so I am clueless on this system. A school called us out to quote a new system or find them help for their Inter-Tel that is acting up. It appears to be configured with a DKSC 16+, DKSC, LSC (x2). They also have 3 IP phones running out of it. They say they cannot transfer any calls and voicemail does not work.

The Axxess is at end of life. I would get an Inter-Tel shop to assess the system.
If the KSU is dead, it’s possible to swap in a Mitel HX-5000 and use the existing endpoints.

In april of 2007 Mitel bought out Inter-tel and it looks as if all the old inter-tel products are out to pasture. Sad thing, I always felt Inter-tel made a very good product and worked as both and install tech and a support tech for the techs for almost 15 years. The DKSC cards allow 16 digital keysets on the system and the LSC is a loop start line card for co lines, they hold 4 lines each. It could be any number of thins causing the problems you describe. Your best bet is to find a tech familiar with the system in your area to take a look at it. I know you can still find parts for the Inter-tel systems so all hope isn't lost
