Have a 'disaster' planning issue.

Two locations, two Axxess Systems (v10.x), ONE (1) Voice Processor/Voice Mail.

We have two offices we are trying to setup for fall-over if one goes down (weather, usually).

Our telco in common for both has a feature that automatically reroutes local loop call from the down location to the up location on detection.

The problem is the secondary loc. doesn't have programming available, all call processing apps are on the Birmingham system, for both offices.

Calls coming into the Ohio office get routed to their apps in BHAM when all is working.

Is there any way to 'Time Out' a route to go to a local Ohio office Hunt Group if BHAM is unreachable?

TIA

Create a HG on the Ohio system. Distribution is linear. Have the current location as the first Member. The second Member is a local ACD Hunt Group, Extension List or whatever you need. If the current destination is not available, it routes to the next in line.

I have this exact situation. Two PBXs. The secondary routes all inbound calls to the primary system. If it is not available, the calls are routed to an extension list of phones. I have 6 phones in our call center (at our primary location) programmed on our secondary PBX. If the primary PBX fails, these six phones light up with the calls. It works.

Uh, define 'Current Location' please? Is that the Operator's extension?

Currently incoming Ohio Calls route (by extension ID for) top of Menu Tree in BHAM, directly. Should that timeout to this new HG? (Which means I need to make the HG as the Primary destination with directed route to BHAM, timing out to the local?

Current meaning the routing to BHAM.

Yes, the routing table would point first to the Hunt Group. The hunt group would have BHAM as the first Member, and whatever configuration of phones you choose for the Ohio phones (Extension List, hunt group or a single extension. It's your choice.)
