Our phone system is below.
I have a person who has her desk phone set to forward to her assistants extension. It works but the forwarded calls never reach her assistants voicemail box if she is away from her desk. It just keeps ringing and ringing. I've check every setting I can think of to change that and even did a system wide re-set of the timers for voicemail to see if that helped. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Our system is Inter-Tel Axxess 5000, using database 11.004, DB Studio 1.67 version

I'm pretty sure that a manual forward will supercede any system forwarding, in this instance the assistant's phone.
I would create a hunt group with the assistant as the only member and that recalls after 20 seconds or so to a CRA with no greetings that times out to the assistant's mailbox.
You can then forward all calls to the hunt group instead of the assistant's extension.

The system is performing normally.
An easy fix is to no\answer forward the assistant phone to voicemail manually and leave it that way. To Forward: Press 'Infinity', 356, Voicemail Key.
