I have a computer client that has been abandoned by his telephone service provider 3 times in the last year. He found out I was Northern Certified and wanted me to take over the Merlin. I think I made a huge mistake.

I upgraded two BIS-10 that were Dead to BIS-34. Followed the Manual for FM5. cleared the phones, then tried to copy the ext 11 attendants phone and got nothing. Then I added all of the lines in order, but only two of the 8 pooled lines showed up. I then tried to do call pickup buttons but that didn't work. I just want all four BIS-32 to look exactly the same. ext 10,11,12,14. Any ideas what I dorked up? Northern, set copy enter and done. I am computer/Audio systems kinda guy haven't done phones in years, thats why I bought the crappy manuals.

Do you have the merlin set up for pool or key mode. If you are in pool mode; you can only assign pool buttons to the phones.
