I have a Legend w/R7V9 firmware and it is set up in the Hybrid/PBX mode. I am having difficulty getting the phones to ring. How do you get the phones to ring when an incoming call arrives without assigning personal lines to each extension?

Assign them to a hunt group and assign the lines to ring that hunt group.
Hope this helps

I am not sure how to set this up. If I set them up as a call group type (hunt) how do I ensure that all of the phones ring. I can see how to set the group up as circular, sequential, etc..

You would set them up to either have them go in an circle or have the call sent to the first ext. that's free. When you've programmed it call and check if its going the the extensions that you've assigned.
Hope this helps

O yea you need to program Extension Status to CMS before you assign them to a group.
Sorry about that.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. System is much different then the 1030/3070 and the Norstar ICS.

Since you are in the hybrid mode, you probably have your lines assigned to one or more pools. If they are all in the main pool (pool 70), assign a pool 70 button to the phones that you want to ring on incoming calls.

Was the result of this post to use personal lines? Or is a coverage option viable?
