I have tried the three ways (specified in the 905 User's Guide) to re-register a 905C so the handset will recognize the base. I am still receiving display message "can't find base". Any suggestions on how to get this working? It is attached to a Merlin Legend w R7.0.

don't know the 905C -- is this a cordless phone with its own base or a transtalk with a module.
