Working with an older Partner System. Added two cordless phones, and can not get them to accept programming for prime Intercom instead of Line Group when they go off hook. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

What partner system are you working with. Partner Plus, Partner II, ACS, Endeavor?

You must program automatic line selection to go to intercom instead of line/pool.

Actually, from Ext. 10 or 11, Feature 00, Left Intercom Twice, Right Intercom Once, dial the Extension Number of the Cordless Phone, dial **, press the Left Intercom, now press the line keys in the order that you want the phone to select them, then dial **, Feature 00.
The part about pressing the line keys is important, otherwise it won't be able to dial 9 for an outside line.
