I'm trying to access a Definity system using Hyperterm set-up to emulate a VT-220. I get the username & password prompts and can login. When I do a 'list' or anything else that fills up the screen, the system is expecting a certain character or characters to be entered to display the next page or to cancel. Does anyone have either the ascii codes needed or know of a software program that I can download? Please let me know.

You need to use TerraNova software. You might be able to download it from the Avaya support site, but doubt it. It is a large program.

What release is your system. I believe AT&T had a 4410 emulator for the older switches, Terranova as stated above for the systems a couple of years ago, and now the have a program called DSA for the newer switches. If you have a newer switch, the installer should of left you the CD with the software.

The only off the shelf communications software I've found to have the AT&T protocol is ProComm Plus. Once you set the protocols to AT&T 4410, you're off and running. And, all the F keys work as if you were on the SAT. If you really want the best, then Lucents DSA software is a must.
