I have a partner 206 module.

I have one mls12 and and analog phone.

If I am on the analog phone I can pick up and listen to the conversation on line 1 from the mls12 (which is what I want).

But if I am on line one on the mls12 and dial a 9 to get an outsile line / join the conversation from the analog phone, I can not.

Any thoughts?

Eric

On the mls phone you are pressing the line button to seize the line that the analog phone is on -- right! Well when you dial 9 to get a line, you are going to the get the next available line. I have not tried it but if you program you analog phone to auto select your first line it might work but you will have to do a flash to use the intercom on the analog phone.
