I just installed an r5.0 acs bkup/restr/rm access card into a standalone r1.1 ACS processor that has the 2 port 4 mailbox voicemail. Now there are issues with the mail. When you icom into 777 there is a regular, slight clicking in the bkgrnd and it doesn't accept DTMF inputs until the prompts have fully played out. Anyone know of any incompatibilities?, Thanks.

What release is your PC voice mail? If it's R1 that is your problem, You will have to get a R2 or above to work with the R5 upgrade.

thanks - not certain how to ascertain the release of the PCMIA mail, but it came with the 1.1 processor so it's safe to put it in the crustaceon category. In terms of age I heard the ACS progessors w/ the ground screws are much newer than the ones without? Have you heard about this? -pk

Yes the newer ACS has a ground screw, I'm not sure when they started putting the ground screw on but I think it was R3.Also the newer PC mail comes in small (2/4) or big (2/16), The bigger one is a much better value and you can set the mail box's down to 4 and add storage time or you can use all 16.
Hope this makes sense.
