I have a customer with a Partner II and a "strategy" voice mail. The PII lost memory due to a power failure, and I've got everything back up except the Voice Mail integration. This is a PC based box that plugs into a couple of station ports, but it doesn't seem to use mode codes to interface to the PII. So the ports are not in hunt group 7, but rather have No Ring for day mode, and assigned to the Night Service group. It always answers with an Auto Attendant greeting, but doesn't transfer to extensions, but rather just to a mailbox to record a message. Manually transferring callers to a mailbox consists of transferring to the VM extension, waiting for the AA greeting, dialing the extension number, then hanging up to complete the transfer of caller to mailbox.
Anyway, the Message Waiting light are not working. I gave the VM ports Intercom First, so the box could dial #09XX and #10XX to control the lights, but no joy.
Any other ideas? Anyone ever used this particular flavor of VM on a Partner?
Thanks.

The strategy integrates the sam eway as the partner mail does. the vm needs to know what the on/off codes for mwi are, if the vm wasn't effected with the power loss then those should still be there. the partner talks to the strategy via dtmf codes and the partner needs to use the hg 7 to integrate correctly, try setting it up like a partner vm and it should kick back in right.
