We have a legend 4.0 system with both mlx phones and a number of older SP-34s.On the mlx phones you can program auto dial inside calls with no problem. On the SP-34s we set the switch to program, select a button, *22, phone beeps, enter the extension to call, then switch out of program mode. but the button doesn't auto dial. Happens on all SP-34s on several cards, Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Harry
Fixed Someone had assigned a non existant outside line(s) to buttone we wanted to program, removed the lines and all programs fine Thanks Everyone

Try going into centralized programming and assigning the buttons and see what happens.

I've tried it from the centralized programing, same results. I select the centralized programming, pick an extension, pick a button, pick the autodial feature, then the selection "internal" or "external" appears. press internal and nothing happens, can't enter anything else, just get the beep and programming error message? Thanks Harry

On analog multi-line phones like the SP34 you need to press ## after the number. T/P to P, press button to program, *21 for inside extension, *22 for outside number, dial number, ##, T/P to center position.
