I need help connecting and configuring a 7400a data module to my call accounting system. Does anyone have experience setup one of these units up.

I only use 8400b's now. The 74 programs the same. I recommend if you are new to AT commands you download the user guide from the AVAYA web site. I'll post the AT input string if I can find it. Check back.

7400 data module
dipswitch SW1 switch 1 on= no phone
at&f (default)
at&c1&d2s1s0=1&w0&y0 enter

If the dce port on your switch is not being used, and you are within 50 ft of the switch, you can avoid the data module and use "eia" on the system cdr form.
