i have an acs 4.0. suddenly all three co lines had no dialtone. i checked from the block, dialtone was there. i powered down the system and powered back up, still nothing. i reset it again, then dialtone was there. does this sound like a problem that will repeat?

Power down the system and reseat your card to be sure that it was all the way in, I hope it doesn't repeat the problem any more but you never know. Do you also have some kind of surge protector on it, if not you should put one on it.

Is this a stand alone 3x8 or do you have a 2-slot or 5-slot carrier. If not in a carrier, ask yourself who is the dailtone provider and what type of line they are providing to the phone system. I have seen radio stations running promotions when the whole town comes off hook to dial in for that $10.00 gift!!!! If you have Centerx or Essex lines (dial 9 first)you may not have enough NAR's.
