Not having problems just doing some research on upgrading a client with a Partner ACS System and VMS R3 to 4 port Key Voice Corporate Office NT System. My question is how do I interface the ACS to the PC

You hook any of the after-market vmails the same way you hook up an external Partner Mail. It uses 1 station port per port of voice mail, just make sure you run 1 Pair to each STA port on the partner.

As ttech said, it goes in just like the stand alone Partner mails, you can also tell the Key Voice what system it is working with when you start setting it up. Once you get into the programming screens it will make sense to you. There not hard at all.

Hey House, why the NT platform? Are you planning on unified messaging? If not, stick with the DOS platform, it is far less complicated.

i had the same question as z-man, if you are just upgrading/updating the voicemail, a debut may be the best answer, they work great and are easy to setup.

Z man unified messaging is what im looking into thats why NT version. At the time I sold this system I tryed to sell the client the lastest release which was the R5 with the Partner Messaging R1 and servral 308 ECs so he could just order phones and new lines as he grew but he didn't want to spend the extra money. But now he needs 2 line caller ID which is not avalible on the ACS R3 with out a programmed toggle and he needs to add more lines and stations and a bigger voice mail package because he bought out another company in the building which when I put in the system he was in negotiations for. Now the client is hitting me with you should have told me I needed all this the first time (I just laugh and tell him to look at the original proposal and say I told you so). So thats why Im looking into adding KV Corporate they would have more flex then they would with the PM R1. Sorry for the long post.

Sounds like a good answer, especially if you want the unified messaging.
hey TX. When I first started putting in the Debut system, I had about 1/3 of them go bad. Sometimes they were a month out of warranty. I made a policy never to sell another one. I can get a refurbed small office for the same price. I don't think Key voice even makes them anymore. You have had good luck with them? Are you still selling them? Do you have a fix for the flash problems?I am buying a lot of refurbed PC based Key Voice systems and turning them around. let me know if you need anything.
