I have a 6 line telephone that when I pick up on line 1 the HFA light lights up. Does not do it when I pick up on line 2 or line 3. I have tried the HFA / Mute button in all conditions to try to get it to stop. I swapped the phone and it does not do it. Is my phone bad or is there something I can do to stop this? Please Help....Thanks

If you have put a different telephone in the same location and the replacement phone does not do it, then you probably have a broken phone. It sounds like a keypad problem to me. Have you recently spilled anything on the telephone? Even a drop or two of soda can screw up the phone if it gets into the keypad. We can fix it. Hit me with an email.

If you swap phones and the problem follows the phone then it is the phone.
