Looking for advise from techs that actual have had experience with multiple systems. I have a requirement of 9 lines, 18 extensions, IT, auto-attendant, messaging routing; from a system. I am comparing the NEC Aspire to the Avaya Partner systems. Any direction (due to problems with either system) that I should be aware of that would affect my decison on purchase?

What is IT? The Aspire is more powerful in about every aspect, but then again it is brand new compared to the Partner.

I've seen partners that have been running for 10 years and haven't needed any servicing, except for a handset or 2...

Well at least with the partner there is plenty of product around ,and people to service them.
They are dependable .
Dont know dealer support in fla and quality of support on aspire.

2 port voicemails are worthless IMHO. Get a demo from both then check references. IMHO the Aspire is a much better system for the monies, hasn't been around near as long as the Avaya though because it's relatively new. So far, every one I have installed seems to work well and the voicemail is pretty powerful for a flash based system.
