My company recently acquired a Partner Endeavor and Partner Mail VS R4. Reading through online documentation, I found that I need to login to box 99 for admin access, but the minute I put in 99# I get "Login Incorrect" before it even asks me for the password.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to reset it to factory defaults?

Thanks!

What steps are you doing? you would use 99# for the extension.

1) dial 777 and get the voice-mail login prompt.

2) I can put in 00# and get into the A.A. box, or 10# and get into a normal mailbox, but when I put in 99# I immediately get the "invalid" message without being prompted for a password.

As far as I can tell it's functioning just fine.

Are you sure this a VS4 or is it a PC mail? The PC mail would use 0#

The PC mail would slide into the processor and the VS mail would use a slot.

It's definitely partner mail VS R4. It occupies a slot in the carrier.

If it's a VS4 then it has to be 99#, there is no other code. If you want you can email me the number and I can dial in and take a look at it.
This could be a Partner Messaging 1 also, it would use 0# also and looks like the VS.

Never heard of a VS that didn't take 99#

When I return to the office tomorrow I'll hook it up to a phone line.

I'll also take a picture of it...maybe that'll help.

Thanks again!

I've figured it out now. Apparently the VS must have died or something and wasn't being used...it's just the Voice Messaging PC card that it has now.

Figures.

Thanks for your help.
