Hi,
My company is keen to move to IP Office from a legend solution, primarily for all the gui management and call center features.

I was told that their entire software is developed on top of another solution called SmartConnect which expanets OEMd in the USA from a company in New Zealand.

Is it is true that the existing investment can be protected if we go with SmartConnect and yet get all the nice bells and whistles which are touted to be available with IP Office. I am a n00b so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
JS

IP-Office works with SmartConnect. IP-Office has its own VoiceMail and Call Center Applications that Avaya will reccomend. SmartConnect was a branded name given to Expanets for Zeacom's product line including the Q-Master for Call Center applications and Courus for VoiceMail. The Question is who is localy supporting you now that Expanets went back to Avaya? Zeacom offers remote tech support and so does Avaya on the Zeacom line. See www.zeacom.com
IP-Office is not a Zeacom product.
