not sure what is going on here, but every so often, maybe 1 in 3 attempts to call voicemail from an extension goes to extension #18. Tried to reboot and still has the same problem. Actually, after rebooting, extension #18 will ring 5-6 times, then if you pick up, you hear numbers dialing. You hear numbers as well when the voicemail phenomenon occurs. Any idea why this is happening and what do I need to do to stop it?

It sounds like you have 18 in hunt group 7, check you #505 program and make sure only the VMS ports are assigned and nothing else

you are exactly right! I was trying to set this up and we have #10-#17 extensions in the main module, #18-#23 (#18 is the only ext. plugged in) in module 206E r.4.1 and #24-#29 in module 206 r.2.0 (none of these are used so far). Can I only hook up the VMS to the main module extensions? Bummer... so I need to put 18 in another Hunt Group? Which one should I use or does it matter?

What VMS are we talking about? VS, Partner mail or what. If it's a VS then you would treat it as a 206 for port assignments using the bottom 2 or 4 ports, if it's a Partner mail you can put it on any ports you have but keep them in a row. Hunt group 7 is for VMS only if you want your stations to be in hunt groups use 1-6
