I need to add c.o. lines to an ACS. I have a 2 slot R1 expansion carrier and the instructions show it compatible with most of the older modules but not the 3x8 expansion module. Will the 308EC module work with the ACS R1 2 slot cabinet. Thanks JBW

Thanks KENB. I have both of these but the instructions with the ACS R1 2 slot cabinet which has 1 long and 1 short connection specified the modules that it would work with and the 308EC was not listed. I would like definitely to know that the 308ec would work with it before I ordered one. THANKS JBW

You didn't originally say that your 2 slot carrier was an ACS carrier.
YES it will work. When the R1 carrier was invented, the 308 expansion module wasn't.
The instructions don't say that a 308 won't work, they say that a 206 will work.

Thanks guys. Sorry for the confusion Tommy. The ACS processor is a release 3. The ACS 2 slot carrier is a release 1 and the original instructions that came with it did not reference the 308ec module. Thanks for your help. All is well in North Louisiana. JBW
