I have a customer that has a Partner ACS R.4. With PC card mail(16 box). They are saying when they forward ext.12(feature 11 12 to XX). That ext 11 calls are also going to the ext ext they forwarded to. Any suggestions?

Are they sure that it is intercom and transferred calls to Ext. 11 that are being redirected to the same destination as Ext. 12's forward? Because there is a "feature" or "bug" that if a NON-ringing phone is forwarded to another non-ringing phone, the receiving extension will suddenly receive immediate ring on all incoming calls. Maybe that is what they are experiencing?

That sounds like what may be going on. What or can I correct the problem?

Thanks,

What if I set those ext to delayed ring? Because the A.A. picks up on zero rings anyway.

Use call cover (Feature 20) instead of Forward. Set the call cover rings for Ext. 11 to 1. Calls will ring at Ext. 11 once, then ring at the covering extension, and if still unanswered, cover back to 11's mailbox.
