I have a customer with a Lucent Partner ACS. Currently when the call an extension it rings. They would like to activate the handsfree intercom when the extension is called internally. I looked in the programming manual but couldn't find anything.

HFAI--Hands Free Answer Intercom is accomplished this way--
1. The MIC button must be on
2. The calling party must call the system telephone by pressing * then dialing the extension number.

You can also program a button, go into programming for that phone touch button touch left intercom, touch * and dial extension #. Remember if person is on a call phone will just ring.
