I have a client that wants to add voice mail to their Merlin 1030 system. Is the a proprietary voice mail product for this? If not, can someone recommend a third party product they have had success with?
Thank you.

Time to upgrade the phone system. You might still be able to get an old Voy-Sys system but I wouldn't touch it with a 25 ft. handset cord. 10/30 was a very durable system, but not built to integrate with todays technology.

I just wanted to agree with markk. You could try and find a working Classic-Mail/Voy-sys but nobody involved would be happy. look into a IP-Office, Partner, Magix solution.

If you do find one you will also need the special key for the 1030 system.

Tjank you for your replies. They are helpful. I too think an upgrade/replacement is in order and am pursuing that. However, $$, as always, is an issue.
I have a brand new "VME4000" by Aleen and am considering connecting it to the system. Any red flags go up with you guys or are they just throwing good money after bad?
locg, should I spare no expense and a gallon of bottled water or would tap water do just fine??!! lol

The ONLY vm that will work is the voysys/classic mail. The 1030 does not send mode codes to the single line ports

Thank you ttech. I'll stop beating this dead horse now.
Time to move them to a the Norstar MICS w/Call Pilot like we did at three of their other sites.
