Im not too familiar with the Mail VS so please help me out. A customer has a Partner Mail VS catridge but no PC card installed into the slot. I cant get it to answer when I dial INT. 777 just a busy sig. Does this slot need the pc card installed?

No the VS doesn't need it, they come as a 2x10 on the VS4 and below and the VS 5 comes as a 2x48. The PC card slot is for adding 2 more ports and more mail box's. It sounds like you don't have your VS ports assigned in #505
The Messaging units needs to have a PC 2,4,6 license card but not the VS

You need to program the extensions used by the VS mail into hunt group 7.
