Does anyone know where I might get trained on this unit for the simpler things?
I also need to setup a terminal for one a friends office. He has an R8 but the terminal went bad. Isnt the terminal just a PC eith a serial connection? A laptop could work with software? Help!

There are 3 ways to go with this. It depends on how you want to connect. I setup a comserver at the site. This is a stand alone unit that will connect to the terminal port on G3 work on standard comport setting like your computer and access the switch VIA internet. If this is a local issue the a very old or inexpensive computer with a comport connected directly to the term port of G3 and then there is a standard terminal. So it really depends on the need. If you need help lat me know I can walk you thru it.
