I have a client that wants his exts to have a different ring than that of the CO lines . Also , all of the existing numbers are in a 100 group . He wants to change some of them from that to 3-- numbers . For instance , he wants to change ext 129 to 329 . I have gone through the manual and his set up menu but have found nothing about these type of program changes . Can you help ? Thanks ,Jerry

Changing the nunbers is actually easy.
Menu
System programming
Exit/Start
SysRenumber
NonLocal UDP
Enter starting number: 300
Enter ending number: 399
DelRange
This empties out the 300 block. This block is default for MFM's if in Hybrid mode.

Now you can renumber the stations one at a time or in a group depending on how many.

Menu
System Programming
Exit/Start
SysRenumber
Single
Extensions
Enter old number: 129
Enter new number: 329
Make sure to hit the Enter button.

Voila!!

As far as the ringing goes, there is a diffrence in the ringing now. It probably is not as distinctive as he would like. An incoming line rings with a long ring tone and an inside call rings one long and one short. The tone for the long is always what the station has set for its personal ring tone.
