Is there system programming when installing MFM modules? I think it is Legend Ver.6.x & MLX10DP I have a customer that can not get his working, but knows nothing about programming the system and I am not much more help either on that system. I had him verify 4 pairs are wired and the jumpers are set to T/R. He is wanting to connect it to his modem on his computer.
Thanks

MFMs are prone to static damage. I could be a bad one
as long as the jumpers are right it should work

I have never programmed a MFM, but don't you have to make sure and assign auto line select to that extension? The MFM extension?

Treat the MFM as any other extension. If you assign private lines, or the main pool, you can change the auto line select to grab the line or pool first, to eliminate the having to dial 9, although then you can't dial internal extensions.
If you assign a pool, don't forget to set it for no ring, or the modem might start answering incoming calls.
