Hey I am just coming into this position as Systems Admin here and there is a Merlin Legend. The manuals are cryptic at best. I need to change locations of some phones (mine is one of them) and also I can't get in to access the setup program. Any ideas on how to do this? I would appreciate help as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Josh

In order to access system programming you would need to access the system from the programming station 10 (usually first system extention). If you want to do programming via phone you need an MLX 20L phone. However, if you want to do it via computer you need a 355A adaptor and winSPM. Avaya provides a very good manual for system programming:

I have both of those, the phone mlx-20l and the adapter for the computer. I don't have the spm program that will run on xp or 2000. Any ideas where I can get it? Also thanks for the programming manual link
