I hope this TELCOM board is not gonna turn into somebody's yearbook and start uploading all kinds of photos......
I want this joint to keep with the telecom theory not uploads of Betty Boops travel pictures or pictures of your children growing up......

The www was made for pictures. But I hear what you're saying. I promise to keep all my pictures on topic(Cross my heart). Or refrain from posting at all if that is the will of the masses.
It really is true that a picture is worth a thousand words. And I know I for one enjoy seeing them. Plus there is about a hundred moderators around here to break links if anyone gets out of hand...

Agreed. We don't want pictures to clutter the board. However, if the same policy on posts is applied to pics, it shouldn't be a problem to have some pics. Accept may for longer downloads.

Why not add another category?Or if the topic is "photos of installs" then I would expect to see those photos.If people post photos either unrelated to the topic or post a photo to a topic that photos are not specified then give'm a warning,kinda like the people that post equipment for sale in the wrong place.If it becomes a problem then do away with it.I personally dont mind photos as long as they are relevant.I like to be able to see the other guys' work around here.Gives me something to compare myself to.Also,it gives me a chance to have some insight on some of the characters on this forum.You can tell a lot about someone by the quality of work that they do.Am I right?

If you think photos of installs shouldn't be posted here, you're nuts. As for the other picture I posted, I was *asked* to post the pic by the moderator of the category it was posted in, so buzz off. I would also appreciate it if you referred to me as either squeakygeek, or Nate.
