I just got an Avaya Partner ACS Model 103G13(28) R5. I am wanting to know if it will work with my Ava Technology Voice Mail system. I currently have it setup to work with my panasonic system and it works just fine. I wanted to use the Avaya system because it seems to do more but I dont see anything in the programming manual about using other voice processing systems. It just talkes about Avayas voice mail.

Any Input?

Not sure which mail you are talking about, is there any more info on it as to what model? I notice you are local to me.

My voice mail system runs on a PC. The software is from Ava Technology. I have the Ava Intro II software. The system has 4 ports to answer calls with. I got into the system to see what compatible phone system worked with it and I didnt see Avaya. But I did see in the AT&T catagory that is supports:
AT&T Partner ACS, II, Plus R3.1 and Up
is that the same as what I have? I have the Avaya Partner ACS Version 5.0 I think..

so if that is the one I want, then How would I porgram the avaya system treat ext 16 and 17 as voice mail ports. I know how to make the lines not ring on the others. I just want the voice mail system to do the answering...

If it supports the ACS then that is what you have, you will need to set your ports in Hunt Group 7 (program #505) and also set up the group 7 (#206) then set your #506 and #507 for hunt delay and hunt scheduale for day and night
