We are using: System: G3rV6 Software Version: G3V6r.03.3.246.1
The caller is using a NORTEL PBX ISDN and states that to Focal the calls work fine.
We are having trouble taking inbound calls from an ISDN in T1 and passing it out to a carrier. I see the call in the CDR but it does not route out bound. I dont know if this is the problem. This switch requires a 6 to make outbound calls but a 6 is not sent to me by caller. Can I insert a 6 somewhere or is there a way to not use a 6 for this TG.
Also I need help with CID. If you make a call to some destination numbers there is CID but that same originating number to other destination numbers no CID. It is driving me nutty. Again they say if call goes to focal they work fine.

You can put the 6 on your trunk group so all calls entering with a specific DNIS will be proceeded with a six. I assume you are doing that for routing purposes. CID IE messages are unique to protocols. so we would need to know what protocol is comming in and what you are sending it out on. Your route patterns probably need to force a numbering format for the trunk groups in question. Too many variables not knowing how this was designed.

TY for the reply. I looked in TG but couldnt figure out where or what info to put in it. Any inbound callor ANI from that circuit is allowed to call out. Its not like programming a TIE TG where I do a digit treatment and insert. This is looking for alot more info and I dont know how to answer the question. Again thx for the help.

On page 3 of the ISDN trunk you can add digits. You got mail.
